Unintentional

I was messing around with my camera a few days ago just trying to figure some things out. I was taking pictures of walls, doors, etcetera, etcetera. When I was playing with the exposure I took this, not intending on keeping it. Well, I liked it, so I kept it...and put it on my blog...

Average

Mehh. That is the word to describe my first day of school. The bad did not outweigh the good, and the good did not outweigh the bad. Really, it all began the night before school started. I picked out at least 872 outfits until I found the "perfect" one, then I picked a different one, and stuck with it. The next morning I forced my self out of bed at 5:40 to get ready. I got to first period, it went well, then came second... Let's just say I signed up for drop add before I even went to that class. Spanish was next, then lunch rolled around, now it was time for math. My math teacher is awesome to say the least! English was 5th, it was ok. Bible was hilarious, and history went surprisingly well. FINALLY, it came; the most wonderful noise I have ever heard!! The 2:40 bell came like music to my ears. My first day of 10th grade was over. I went to cross country (this is when you stop and reread that part and laugh because yes, I am really doing cross country) after school; did horrible and went home. In the end I was extremely upset that summer had truly ended, but glad to be back with my friends again. So, I guess that makes my whole first day just...average.

23 Hours

Yes, that is how many hours until my birthday. The day that marks not being 16. Awesome.

about to be lamer, or more lame

It is Friday the 13th, and yet another 2 of my friends turn 16. I told them "HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!" on Facebook while sitting on my bed reading...The State of Alabama Driver's Manual. Not only was this book written to make 8th graders feel really cool about being able to drive with their mom soon. It was written for people like me, who will be a Sophomore in 4 days but have not turned 15. Yep, that's right, for the next 3 days I am a 14 year old. BUT in 3 days I should get legally certified to be stuck in the car with my parents for another year. Awesome.

Procrastination

Ahhh it is 9:28 and there are lots of things for me to do. Number one on my list pack, number two clean up my room, finally, number three put away the laundry that I hid in my closet about 3 weeks ago. These are the things that need to get done before I leave 6:30 a.m. and sit in a car for 7 hours. ( I will be sitting because for the next 8 days I am still 14 years old.) Instead of doing numbers one, two, and three I am sitting on my bed doing a little facebook stalking, skyping, and texting. BUT the genius in me has a great plan. This plan is sitting on my bedside table and it is what I like to call COFFEE. It is like the fix all for procrastination. I will waste my time doing what I want until I get bored then coffee kicks in and I will want to do numbers one, two, maybe three. It is such a good plan! Well now I am bored of this and I am going to do number one, maybe two, probably not three.

a new way of living

Things at the Jager house will be different and much quieter until next summer. The chair two up and to the right of me will be empty at dinner time. I will not have someone to argue with about who really made us late to church. At 1 a.m. I will not see light coming from down the hall because she fell asleep with it on again. It is not the same, but there are other things to look forward to like... taking more trips to Auburn! Right now not much sound better than going to an Auburn game, or staying up too late, or falling asleep on a cramped dorm room floor. So maybe out of all the stress, lack of sleep, and crying today God has blessed me with a new way to make memories with the ones I love most.
